Training Aim

This course aims to improve knowledge in hand hygiene, when/how this should be performed and its importance in healthcare settings.

Training Objectives

• Understand the importance of hand hygiene
• Knowledge of the categories in which microorganisms fall in to
• Understand the different between the different hand hygiene techniques
• Awareness of how and when hand hygiene should be carried out
• Understand the importance of hand hygiene training and instruction
