Practices across the UK have trusted our expert technicians to repair and service their handpieces for over 75 years collectively. In that time our dedication to quality service and cutting-edge expertise has not faltered.
Our DD technicians have been approved by leading handpiece and small equipment manufacturers, from W&H and Kavo, to Bien Air and NSK plus many more. This high level of accreditation and manufacturer training means that your equipment is safe in DD’s hands and will be returned at a standard, meeting or exceeding manufacturer quality.
Complimentary to our plan of standard cartridge and bearing replacements, handpiece, motor, and sonic scaler repairs, we also offer the choice of upgrading to service plans and new handpieces.

Technicians
Each DD technician has undergone an intensive induction and training programme which covers all aspects of handpiece repairs and small equipment. This includes theoretical and practical training, competency testing, internal and external audit and continued education. Some examples would include the ISO-9001 and ISO-13485 accreditations.
Accreditation
All DD technicians complete thorough training with leading equipment manufacturers, including W&H, Anthogyr, NSK, Bien Air, Kavo, Sendoline, Walker and many more as part of the DD ‘Repair Accreditation.’
You will be able to speak personally with the engineer undertaking your repair if required.
Free Quotes, Postage, & Warranty
Postage of your handpieces to DD is free, and we offer quick, free quotes on repair cost.
All repairs come with a 3-to-12-month warranty dependent on your chosen repair service. If your handpiece fails whilst under warranty, just send it back together with its original invoice for repair. All handpieces will be dispatched via our tracked next day courier providing peace-of-mind service delivery. Pre accepted authorisation repair limits allow quicker turnaround from receipt as well as providing spend visibility.
Certified Parts & inspection
DD Repairs partners with manufacturers to secure original parts at competitive prices, which offer longevity, improved performance, compliance, and extended warranties.
You might have known our services under those titles, but we’ve since changed our name to DD Repairs. Don’t worry, we’re as committed and capable of repairing your handpieces as ever.
All you need to do is fill in the enquiry form at the top of our FAQ page or give us a call on 01253 600090. We will provide you with free postal envelopes to send us your handpiece.
Our enquiry form will require you to fill in details about your practice. Essential details include, your DD account code, name, address, phone number, and email address.
We also ask that you provide as much information regarding the equipment being repaired as you can. Essential information includes make, model, serial number, warranty information and a detailed description of its faults.
Once our quote has been accepted, we work on a 24-hour turnaround for turbines, 48 hours for slow speed handpieces and 7 working days for small equipment. However, this turnaround time may change if we need to order specific parts or the equipment needs to be assessed by the manufacturer. To ensure quick turnaround, include your pre-approved repair limit and we will process upon receipt to save timely call backs or emails to gain authorisation for your repair.
Simply call us on 01253 600090, and we will arrange a collection with our couriers.
We offer free quotes on all repairs, but prices may vary according to the parts required in terms of device, manufacturer, and any additional customer specific needs.
Once your equipment arrives our technicians will carry out their full assessment and quote. This quote will cover which parts are required for the repair. We will then reach out for your approval before going ahead with any repairs (if not already pre-approved).
Call us on 01253 600090 or email repairs@ddgroup.com to request a repair pack. Packs are normally received the next day and include a work order sheet. We’ll need you to complete your work order sheet and send us a copy when you return your pack.
You should keep the carbon copy of the submitted work order for your records and then post the repair bag back to us. Our repair bags are Freepost First Class, but we recommend any posted equipment is ‘signed for’ to provide insurance for your equipment.
