Training Aim

The aim of this course is to understand what anaphylaxis is and be able to conduct good patient care before and after anaphylaxis within the dental practice.

Training Objectives

• Knowledge of the legislation in place to protect people from discrimination
• Knowledge of the ‘protected characteristics within the Equality Act 2010
• Recognise the different types of discrimination
• Understand what equality and diversity means
• Understand the steps that can be taken to raise awareness of equality diversity in the workplace
