Surgical suction tubes without cannula are very soft, have a wide bore to ensure excellent passage of aspirated material and are specially designed to prevent narrowing of the bore during suction. They have bend-proof connection fittings to facilitate the passage of fluids, and may or may not have provision for insertion of the OsteoTrap bone filter.
