Product Overview
Avair brackets are made from a hybrid biocompatible material that is a dispersion of acrylic and two different copolymers, with a small amount of polycrystalline alumina (PCA) for increased strength. The material for Avair is the most sophisticated and advanced stage of technology and science.
Avair brackets are clear and stain-resistant. The material of the Avair bracket won’t deform during treatment, and won’t wear like common polyurethane and bicarbonate materials. Avair delivers orthodontic forces without the brittle and abrasive characteristics of sapphire or ceramic, but its shore hardness prevents teeth from being damaged as with ceramic brackets. This bracket will not shatter or break during debonding.
Clinical Benefits
- High material stability
- Maximum tie-wing strength
- Torque fracture resistance better than PCA ceramic
- High abrasion resistance
