Product Overview
IPS e.max is a high strength (360 MPa) lithium disilicate glass-ceramic (LS2) for the CAD/CAM technique directly in the dental office (chairside) or the laboratory (labside). Its indication spectrum includes inlays/onlays, thin veneers, occlusal veneers, crowns, anterior/premolar bidges, implant superstructures as well as hybrid abutments and hybrid abutment crowns. In the fabrication of long-span bridges - also for the posterior region - IPS e.max CAD veneering structures are used in combination with zirconium oxide frameworks. IPS e.max CAD blocks are available in four levels of translucency (HT, MT, LT MO).
The MO blocks are available in 5 group shades (MO 0, MO 1, MO 2, MO3, MO4). Given their opacity, these blocks are intended for the fabrication of substructures that are placed on vital or slightly discoloured prepared teeth. They form an excellent base for lifelike restorations that are completed with the layering technique.
The abutment blocks with a prefabricated interface are suitable for the creation of hybrid abutments.
